In a nutshell

For the year commencing October 2014, two twelve-month pupillages, and two tenancies, are being offered. The deadline (9 May 2013) for applying for those pupillages (which (save for transferring solicitors) were required to be made through the Bar Council's Pupillage Gateway) has now passed. 3VB shall consider and advertise the number of October 2015 pupillages it will be making available at the end of 2014.

First and second round pupillage interviews for the 2013 Gateway applications shall be taking place on 2nd and 23rd July 2013 respectively.

The pupillage award for 2014-2015 is £60,000 (the first half of which is tax free, and up to £20,000 of which can be drawn down during the year prior to pupillage).
