Unfunded Pupillage

Chambers offers a very limited number of unfunded pupillages to candidates (generally from overseas) who are not applying for tenancy and who do not intend to practise at the English bar. Unfunded pupillages generally last for 6 months. Any offer of unfunded pupillage is subject to Chambers obtaining a waiver in respect of that candidate under the Bar Council's Pupillage Funding and Advertising Requirements.

Applications for unfunded pupillages are outside the OLPAS scheme and should be made by sending a covering letter and detailed CV marked "Unfunded Pupillage" and addressed, if by post, to Michele Jones, and if by e-mail to pupillage@3vb.com.
