Practice
Felicity
has a broad commercial practice. As a pupil, Felicity gained
experience in the fields of general commercial law, banking
and financial services, commercial fraud, professional negligence,
bankruptcy and insolvency. She was also instructed to act as
advocate in interlocutory applications in the High Court and
County Court.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Felicity was a solicitor at a leading
national firm in Australia, with a general commercial litigation
and corporate law practice. On moving to London, Felicity worked
at the Parliamentary Counsel Office where she drafted a wide
variety of primary legislation for the UK Government.

Commercial
- Currently
assisting in proceedings in the BVI relating to the Financial
Collateral Arrangements (No. 2) Regulations 2003
- Assisted
in acting for a casino in a sizeable dispute relating to
gaming, cheques and the ICC Uniform Rules for Collection
- Assisted
in acting for the Republic of Zambia in a claim by a vulture
fund for $55 million said to be due under a settlement
agreement relating to assigned sovereign debt
Banking
and financial services
- Currently
assisting Nationwide Building Society in High Court proceedings
to determine the validity of bank charges for unauthorised
overdraft facilities
Commercial
Fraud
- Assisted
in acting for the Attorney-General of the Republic of Zambia
in proceedings against the former President and others,
including firms of English solicitors, relating to fraud,
corruption, money laundering, breach of fiduciary duty,
dishonest assistance and conspiracy
Professional
negligence
- Assisted
in acting for defendant financial advisors in high value
multiparty litigation brought by 45 claimants against a
number of banks arising out of a fraudulent and unlawful
pension liberation scheme
Bankruptcy
and insolvency
- Appeared
as advocate in several winding up and bankruptcy hearings
