Lisa Lacob undertakes general commercial work, including banking, financial services, professional negligence, telecommunications and IT law. She is regularly instructed to appear in interlocutory hearings and trials in the County Courts and the High Court. Before coming to the Bar, Lisa practiced as a Solicitor in the Banking Group of Linklaters, a leading international law firm, where she specialised in a broad range of UK and international financing transactions. During this time Lisa completed a 9 month secondment to the Securitisation and Structured Finance Group of Lloyds TSB Bank, where she drafted and advised on documentation relating to securitisations and capital markets issues. Lisa also trained as a commercial attorney in South Africa, where her responsibilities included drafting and advising on commercial contracts and other corporate documentation.
