Chambers and Partners: "Busier by the year, Kramer punches well above his call" (2012), "a lawyer with "an evident talent for assimilating complex numerical evidence"" (2012), "brings "great attention to detail" to his practice" (2012), "numerous fans in the solicitor world... won over by his "wit, intelligence and work ethic" ... happy to instruct him on a regular basis. Legal 500: "One of the brightest junior barristers of his generation" (2011), "displays a gravitas way beyond his years of call" (2011).
Adam is instructed as a junior and sole advocate in £multi-million short and long commercial trials, appeals and arbitrations across the range of commercial law, but particularly in the five areas of banking, civil fraud, energy, insurance/reinsurance and professional negligence.
A former academic at Durham University and University College Oxford, Adam continues to write books and articles, give expert opinions on English law for foreign proceedings, and give talks in contract and tort law (especially contract damages and contractual interpretation), one of his articles being recently cited in the ground-breaking contract remoteness decision of the House of Lords in Transfield Shipping v Mercator Shipping, 'The Achilleas' [2009] AC 61 (on which he comments in (2009) 125 LQR 408) and in the Singapore Court of Appeal.
